After a little welding help from my good buddy Suitcase, I got all the electrical crammed in there under the seat. Had a bitch of a time getting her to run properly. Very little power. Turns out if you put the plug wires on the correct plugs...VROOOOOM!!!!!! Who knew?

XS progress

Dumped out the xs400 from the donor bike.

Dumped out the lame 360 from Carole's chassis.

Cleaned up the frame and controls.

Inserted XS400.  Anyone who tells you an xs400 engine fits in an xs360 frame is a damn liar. Had to redo the rear motor mounts and adapt the top brackets. Got a set of Duro HF-308 dirt track style tires coming for it too which should look great. Lots of electrical work to do before then.

Fuck yes.

This is why I need a jeep and why I love the Canadian Army.

why does everything harley make this year look like a fucking switchback The switchback is the ugliest loser cruiser they've made to date or so I thought. Now the whole line-up looks like this. WTF

Everything, that is, except THIS!!!

The new Dyna Low Rider. Which is bad as fuck! Reminds me of the old school Stugis models they used to run.

I would so totally ride this. I will be looking for these this summer. Nice bike.

Mama's Moto

Me and Du Keeps got busy last night scraping spider nests off of Carole's XS360. Pulled the gremlin ridden wiring harness out and replaced it with the non-gremlin one off the XS400. Man that's a lot of electrical! I forgot how much stuff there was going on on these stock Japanese bikes.

Next I'll swap the motors too. We found out that the XS400 has electronic ignition which blew our minds. Hahah.

Mama Tried

I like it. A Harley next to an ice racer next to a flat tracker, all in one garage... that's what it's about.

Bike Trip

Featuring a bunch of lucky guys with sweet bikes (incl Dan Auerbach).

Pan-stance and tranny-sembly

This is it. The stance we've been seeking. Now all that's left is everything. Well almost everything. I did get the tranny assembled thanks to the supervising powers of Brian.

CBC Music Show

Went and saw some CBC approved music last night thanks to a tip on tickets from Du Keeps. Matt Anderson played a sold out show at the Broadway last night and rocked it. Getting old when I enjoy an adult contemporary show with a bunch of aging hippies, but it was good.

David Myles opened. So to complete my CanCon for the month here's one of his.
